WARRANTY POLICY – PARTSCORP

Summary

PartsCorp's limited warranty applies only to non-electrical, non-electronic mechanical parts.

The warranty lasts 90 days from the date of delivery.

Electrical or electronic parts, or parts requiring programming, calibration, or VIN configuration, are sold without warranty, except when PartsCorp has shipped an incorrect product, a product different from what was ordered, or a product damaged in transit.

1. Coverage

The warranty covers functional failures inherent to an eligible mechanical part during normal use.

The warranty:

  • Begins on the date of delivery.
  • Lasts 90 days.
  • Applies only to the original buyer.
  • Is not transferable.
  • Covers only the approved product.
  • Is subject to review and validation.

2. Parts that may be covered

Depending on their nature, the following may be covered:

  • Mechanical engine components.
  • Mechanical transmission components.
  • Differentials.
  • Mechanical suspension components.
  • Non-electric mechanical steering components.
  • Mechanical pumps.
  • Mechanical compressors.
  • Mechanical assemblies that do not depend on electronic components.

This list is for reference only. Coverage will depend on the specific nature of the part.

3. Parts without warranty

Electrical and electronic parts are sold without warranty.

This includes, among others:

  • ABS modules.
  • EPS modules.
  • BCM.
  • TCM.
  • ECM.
  • PCM.
  • Computers.
  • Radios.
  • Screens/displays.
  • Electronic controls.
  • 4x4 modules.
  • Transfer case modules.
  • Electric steering racks.
  • Electric pumps.
  • Sensors.
  • Wiring harnesses.
  • Switches.
  • Amplifiers.
  • Fuse boxes.
  • Electric actuators.
  • Electric motors.
  • Components with sensitive connectors.
  • Parts requiring programming.
  • Parts requiring calibration.
  • Parts requiring VIN configuration.

PartsCorp does not guarantee that an electrical or electronic part is plug-and-play.

4. Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect purchase.
  • Incompatibility.
  • Incorrect diagnosis.
  • Incorrect installation.
  • Installation by unqualified personnel.
  • Lack of programming.
  • Incorrect programming.
  • Lack of calibration.
  • Use in a different vehicle.
  • Use in modified vehicles.
  • Damage occurring after delivery.
  • Impacts or accidents.
  • Negligence.
  • Lack of maintenance.
  • Overheating.
  • Leaks.
  • Fluid contamination.
  • Lack of lubrication.
  • Incorrect fluids.
  • Damage caused by other vehicle failures.
  • Electrical shorts.
  • Poor grounding.
  • Defective battery.
  • Damaged wiring.
  • Modifications.
  • Adaptations.
  • Disassembly.
  • Alterations.
  • Heavy commercial use.
  • Racing/competition use.
  • Abuse.
  • Overloading.
  • Use outside normal conditions.

5. Costs not covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Labor.
  • Installation.
  • Removal.
  • Diagnosis.
  • Programming.
  • Calibration.
  • Towing.
  • Vehicle rental.
  • Loss of use.
  • Lost time.
  • Consequential damages.
  • Mechanic fees.
  • Related parts.
  • Expenses not authorized in writing.

6. Conditions for filing a claim

For a claim to be reviewed:

  • It must be submitted within 90 days of delivery.
  • The buyer must provide the order number.
  • Photos and video must be provided.
  • The failure must be clearly explained.
  • Vehicle year, make, model, engine, and trim/version must be provided.
  • The part number must be provided, when available.
  • An inspection must be permitted when requested.
  • The part must not be disassembled, modified, or damaged.
  • The failure must correspond to a defect inherent to the part.

7. Warranty process

To request a review, contact PartsCorp and provide:

  • Full name.
  • Order number.
  • Photos.
  • Video of the failure.
  • Description of the problem.
  • Vehicle information.
  • Installation date.
  • Shop information, when applicable.
  • Diagnosis or additional documentation requested.

PartsCorp will evaluate the evidence and may request additional information.

Do not ship any part without prior written authorization.

8. Possible resolutions

When a warranty claim is approved, PartsCorp may offer:

  • Replacement.
  • Correction.
  • Credit.
  • Partial refund.
  • Full refund.
  • Local inspection.
  • Receipt at a designated address.
  • Authorized local disposal.

The resolution will depend on the product, the failure, replacement availability, and the customer's location within the United States.

9. Warranty-related shipping

Do not ship the product to any address without authorization.

PartsCorp will provide specific instructions based on the characteristics of the case.

Parts shipped without authorization will not be accepted, and shipping costs not previously approved will not be reimbursed.

10. Incorrect product or damage during shipping

An incorrect part, a part different from what was ordered, or a part damaged in transit is not processed as a mechanical warranty failure.

These cases will be reviewed under the Refund Policy and must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
