Refund policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Summary

At PartsCorp, sales are final when the reason for the request is not attributable to PartsCorp, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

  • Incorrect purchase.
  • Change of mind.
  • Incompatibility.
  • Customer error.
  • Incorrect diagnosis.
  • Wrong part number.
  • Incorrect installation.
  • Lack of programming or calibration.
  • Damage occurring after delivery.
  • Logistics delays outside PartsCorp's control.

If PartsCorp ships an incorrect part, a part different from what was ordered, or a part damaged in transit, we will review the case and offer a resolution once the issue is validated.

1. Buyer responsibility

Before purchasing, the customer must verify:

  • Part number.
  • Compatibility.
  • Make, model, and year.
  • Engine and trim/version.
  • VIN.
  • Installation side.
  • Connectors and configuration.
  • Need for programming.
  • Need for calibration.
  • Correct vehicle diagnosis.
  • Expected condition of a used part.

PartsCorp is not responsible when the customer purchases an incompatible part or when the part purchased is not the actual cause of the vehicle's failure.

2. Cases that do not qualify for a return

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

  • Order placed by mistake.
  • Unverified incompatibility.
  • Change of mind.
  • Misdiagnosis.
  • Purchase with an incorrect part number.
  • Lack of programming or learning procedures.
  • Incorrect programming or calibration.
  • Incorrect installation.
  • Installation by unqualified personnel.
  • Damage caused by the vehicle.
  • Electrical damage.
  • Tampering after delivery.
  • Disassembly or modification.
  • Misuse.
  • Carrier delays outside our control.
  • Labor or diagnostic costs.
  • Package refusal by the customer.

These limitations do not affect any non-waivable rights the consumer may have under applicable law.

3. Incorrect, different, or damaged product

If you receive an incorrect part, a part different from what was ordered, or a part damaged in transit, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We may request:

  • Order number.
  • Buyer's name.
  • Photos of the product.
  • Photos of the packaging.
  • Photos of the labels.
  • Video of the issue.
  • Visible part number.
  • Clear description of what happened.
  • Diagnosis or shop documentation, when applicable.

The product, packaging, and labels must be kept while the case is under review.

If the issue is not reported within the stated timeframe, PartsCorp may deny the request, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

4. Available resolutions

When an issue attributable to PartsCorp or the carrier is confirmed, the resolution may include:

  • Replacement.
  • Order correction.
  • Credit for a future purchase.
  • Partial refund.
  • Full refund.
  • Authorized return.
  • Local inspection.
  • Delivery to a designated address.
  • Authorized local disposal.

PartsCorp will determine the reasonable resolution based on the nature of the issue, the customer's location, product availability, and logistics conditions.

5. Unauthorized returns

Do not ship any product back without prior written authorization.

Do not return the product automatically to:

  • The sender's address.
  • The address printed on the packaging.
  • The corporate address.
  • A carrier office.
  • Any other unauthorized address.

A part shipped without authorization may be refused and will not automatically generate a refund.

Do not refuse the package or request "return to sender" without contacting PartsCorp first.

6. Electrical and electronic parts

Modules, computers, sensors, controls, and other electrical or electronic components may require:

  • Programming.
  • Calibration.
  • Learning procedures.
  • VIN configuration.
  • Installation with specialized equipment.
  • Professional diagnosis.

PartsCorp does not guarantee that these parts are plug-and-play.

We do not accept returns for lack of programming, unverified incompatibility, incorrect diagnosis, incorrect installation, or electrical damage caused by the vehicle.

This section does not apply when PartsCorp has shipped an incorrect part, a part different from what was ordered, or a part damaged in transit.

7. Costs not covered

Unless expressly authorized in writing, PartsCorp does not cover:

  • Labor.
  • Installation.
  • Removal.

  • Towing.
  • Vehicle rental.
  • Loss of use.
  • Lost time.
  • Indirect damages.
  • Shop fees.

  • Unauthorized expenses.

Any approved liability will be limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the product sold and the amount paid for that product.

8. Order cancellation

You may request the cancellation of an order by contacting us as soon as possible.

A request does not guarantee that the order can be canceled.

Once an order has been processed, prepared, packaged, or shipped, PartsCorp may decline the cancellation.

If PartsCorp is unable to ship the product, we may offer a replacement, credit, or refund for the corresponding amount.

10. Return costs

PartsCorp will provide specific instructions for each authorized return.

When the issue is attributable to PartsCorp, we may provide a label, coordinate pickup, authorize a local resolution, or apply another reasonable procedure.

When a return is exceptionally authorized for a situation not attributable to PartsCorp, the customer may be responsible for:

  • Shipping.
  • Handling.
  • Storage.
  • Reshipping.
  • Insurance.
  • Other logistics costs.

Shipments made without authorization will not be reimbursed.

11. Refund processing
